Charlotte began her career as a runner at the BBC working across a range of programme brands including EastEnders. Having got her grounding in production she moved over into Press and Marketing at the BBC where she started to develop her interest in brand strategy and communication.
Following a three-year stint as Director of the Media Guardian Edinburgh International TV Festival, Charlotte returned to the BBC as Head of Press for BBC TWO before making her first move into channel management, as Channel Executive on BBC TWO. That led to a stint at BBC-JV, UKTV, where Charlotte was Director of Factual and Entertainment, responsible for the programming and creative strategy for all six UKTV entertainment and factual channels, including developing and launching Dave. Charlotte left UKTV to join US studio NBC where she spent five years running programming, marketing and creative for the six NBCUniversal UK channels.
Charlotte joined Comic Relief in 2015 seeing it as a once in a lifetime opportunity to combine her experience and skills with giving something back.
