Michele joined Comic Relief in January 1998 as the Head of Fundraising, responsible for directing all the charity’s fundraising initiatives. These ranged from major corporate partnerships, to the mass mobilisation of the general public. She was also responsible for co-ordinating the logistics of credit card donations around the Night of TV, and all fundraising activities outside of the Red Nose Day.
In 2003 Michele was promoted to Marketing Director (now Director, UK Campaigns and Brands). She leads the teams that manage Brand and Campaign Strategy, Youth Engagement and Fundraising, Corporate Partnerships and Marketing and Communications.
Michele has a degree from Sheffield University. Prior to joining Comic Relief she spent 10 years working for media/advertising and sales promotion agencies.
